Veerankutty

 

  Veerankutty, a prominent environmental poet of the new generation in Malayalam, has authored three volumes of poetry and two collections of stories for children. His poetry has won him the KSK Thalikkulam Award. He teaches Malayalam at the Government College, Maddappally, in the Kozhikode district of Kerala.

वीरानकुटी की कविता-

 " सब कुछ मुझे  ही कहने की जरूरत नही हैं".

ऐसा  हठ मत  करना कि

सब कुछ मैं ही कहुं

अकेलापन के बारे में कहने  

जनम  से 

एक ही जगह  खड़ा  होने वाला
पहाड़  ही काफी है. 

जंगल को 

किलकारियों के साथ चित्रित करने को

उसकी   झरना ही काफी है. 

सपना बुनने के बारे में 

इस मकड़ी से  ज्यादा
मैं  कुछ नहीं जानता.

भूख के बारे में हो तो, 

दुबली  आकृतियों से
तस्वीरों  की एक परंपरा ही लिखेंगी
इस गली की छायाएं

मरे हुए आदमी को
दूसरों  से बढकर
ख़ामोशी के बारे में कहने का हक़  है,
खुदा के बारे में भी.

कहने का मतलब यह है कि
इतने समय तक शोर -मचाने वालों से
"चोप ", कहने केलिए
एक हिम्मतवर  को  आगे आना है.
वह आप में से कोई हो तो  ज्यादा सही.
